    Thursday afternoon?

  2. Will my cell phone/mobile device work while I am in the Bahamas?
    Some providers have service, usually with an extra charge. Please contact your provider for coverage in the Bahamas, as well as costs associated with each voice call, text message, email, etc.

    In the event that you need to have access to a cell phone while you are in the Bahamas, the business center at Atlantis has cell phones that are available to rent.  For more information on renting a phone, download the pdf here.

  6. I’m bringing my family, how should I book additional rooms?

    Prime Advantage will book your rooms for you in order to ensure that you get our pre-negotiated rates.  You will have the option of adding additional rooms to your registration form for friends or family when you register. All the rooms will be reserved under attendee name.

    If at any time you wish to change or update your registration form you can do that from the My.PrimeAdvantage.com home page or by contacting Soyeon Schock at sschock@primeadvantage.com or Jessica Martin at jmartin@primeadvantage.com.

  8. Is my hotel room covered in my registration fees?

    Registration fees pay for each individual’s meals and events while they are attending the Prime Advantage Conference functions.  The registration fees do not cover your hotel room(s) or any other incidental costs while you are at the Conference.

  10. What flights fly directly to Nassau?

    The Bahamas Tourism website keeps a list of the flights that are scheduled to fly into Nassau International Airport (NAS).  For more information on a particular carrier (flight info, etc.), click on the company’s name in the list.

  12. How can I carpool with someone from the airport to the hotel (or vice versa) once I arrive in Nassau?

    We have set up a ride board for our Members and Suppliers to list the flights they will be arriving on and coordinate with other attendees arriving or departing at the same time.  After you post your information (from the Conference registration page) check back on the board periodically to get other’s flight and contact information.  You can also view the ride board here.

  14. How should I ship my materials and boxes to the Bahamas?
  15. Because of import rules, regulations and tariffs it is best to contact Laser International Freight Transport with specific questions.  Laser works with you to get your materials safely through customs and to the hotel on time.  See the shipping section on this site for more detailed information. 

    It is also important to note that the import duty has been waived for most items entering the Bahamas for a conference.  However, there is still a duty (average duty cost is 52% of the value of the items) on the following items:

    • Food and beverage
    • Suntan lotion and sunscreen
    • Golf balls
    • T-shirts
    • Disposable cameras
